Dr. Tyler Howard is a clinical psychologist and the neuropsychological testing director at Grayslate. She is an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist providing psychotherapy for individuals and couples navigating a wide range of challenges — from gender and sexual identity to trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and major life transitions.

Dr. Howard achieved her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. She has been trained by psychoanalysts as her mentors and draws on her knowledge and experience with psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theories, cognitive-behavioral interventions, spirituality, and mind/body science within an integrative and interpersonal treatment framework.

She also conducts neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults — specializing in evaluations for ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, executive functioning challenges, and anxiety-related cognitive concerns. Her assessments go beyond diagnosis to provide a detailed, personalized picture of how the brain works and a practical path forward.

Additionally, Dr. Howard specializes in sport psychology and mental performance consulting for athletes and high-performance professionals — addressing performance anxiety, career transitions, identity beyond sport, and the psychological demands of elite competition.
