Creativity, somatics, and cultural attunement in service of healing
Arami James (she/they) is an emotionally focused therapist (EFT) providing LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirmative therapy to individuals, couples, and families. With a background in education and the arts, she integrates creativity, mindfulness, and somatic techniques into her practice — creating a space where healing can happen through multiple channels of expression.
Arami also provides specialized reproductive support, guiding families through the emotional landscape of fertility, conception, and postpartum care. This is intimate, often invisible work — and Arami brings both clinical skill and deep human compassion to every step of it.
A first-generation Paraguayan-American, Arami brings a multicultural perspective to therapy that is hard-earned and genuinely lived. She understands what it means to navigate multiple cultural worlds simultaneously — and helps clients explore identity, belonging, and life transitions with honesty and care.
Arami is a registered associate marriage and family therapist under the supervision of Grazel Garcia, LMFT #97561.
