Attachment-based, non-pathologizing care for individuals and couples
Samantha Lam is a neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist and Emotionally Focused Therapist for Individuals (EFIT) with advanced training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Couples (EFCT). She approaches therapy through a non-pathologizing attachment lens — creating a space where clients can explore the origins of their patterns while discovering new possibilities for connection and growth.
Samantha is also a certified Brainspotting therapist and has been trained in Havening — both powerful modalities for trauma care that work at the level of the nervous system and implicit memory. This combination of EFT, Brainspotting, and Havening allows her to meet clients wherever they are in their healing process.
Her work is multilingual and multicultural, informed by an understanding that identity, culture, and systemic context are always part of the therapeutic picture. She creates brave, boundaried spaces where all of who you are is welcome — not just the parts that feel easy to share.
Samantha is a registered associate marriage and family therapist under the supervision of Grazel Garcia, LMFT #97561.
